Occupational health and safety officer • Union County, Mississippi

Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Union County, Mississippi. You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
