We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Prairie County, Arkansas. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $170 per day plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
