Crawler crane operator — Hoonah-Angoon Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work Your main tasks: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) 5+ years on the tools preferred.
