Urgent requirement: we are hiring a collision repair technician in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Your main tasks: • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
