Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Eastland County, Texas. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites The role involves: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment 4+ years on the tools preferred.
