Fabricator-welder — Lewis County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lewis County, Washington. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE Six days a week, one day off.
