Hoist operator • Washington Parish, Louisiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Washington Parish, Louisiana. You will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
