Urgent requirement: steel fixing chargehand (Louisiana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates 2+ years on the tools preferred.
