We are recruiting: head butcher (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head butcher in Kalkaska County, Michigan. You will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; season and marinate meat on request; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
