Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Lake County, Indiana. You will be based at a cake shop. On a typical shift you will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
