Domestic gas engineer wanted in Sheridan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Sheridan County, Nebraska. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. You will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
