Immediate opening: we are hiring a waitress in Rabun County, Georgia. The job is in a coffee shop. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change You will take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; check back during the meal and handle special requests; carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table.
