Vertical transportation technician — Ramsey County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Ramsey County, Minnesota. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate You will run load and overload tests with test weights; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts.
