Day to day you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; check walls for plumb and level as you go; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Part-time with flexible hours.
