Heavy equipment operator — Miami County

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Miami County, Kansas. You will be based on a busy construction site. The role involves keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
