HSE officer — Amherst County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HSE officer in Amherst County, Virginia. The job is at a busy construction site. The role involves enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $260 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
