Urgent requirement: garment machinist (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Wayne County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Meals and transport allowance provided.
