Great opportunity: fabricator-welder (Georgia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Towns County, Georgia. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances We offer $7,250 per project plus benefits.
