Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Howell County, Missouri. The job is at a busy iron foundry. On a typical shift you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
