Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
