Your main tasks: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
