Great opportunity: ladle pourer (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Borough of Tameside, England. The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around £3,150 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
