Join our team: we are hiring an insulation worker in City of Radford, Virginia. The role involves: • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters Requirements: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam Part-time with flexible hours.
