Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Iroquois County, Illinois. The role involves bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
