Gtaw welder • Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State. On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
