Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Prince George's County, Maryland. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Full-time with occasional weekends.
