Toolroom milling operator wanted in Marengo County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Marengo County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery 2+ years on the tools preferred.
