Urgent requirement: milling machinist (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Oconee County, South Carolina. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
