Now hiring: we are hiring a digger driver in Madison County, Indiana. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. You should have: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances On the job you will handle: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger Six days a week, one day off.
