Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in New Madrid County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. On the job you will handle: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
