Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Avery County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
