Fire and safety officer • Fentress County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Fentress County, Tennessee. You will work on a high-rise building project. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Your main tasks: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Performance bonus on top of base pay.
