Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Orkney Islands, Scotland. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. You should have: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Rotating shifts.
