Gtaw welder wanted in Inyo County

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Inyo County, California. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
