Day to day you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Part-time with flexible hours.
