Pipe tig welder wanted in Toro

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Toro, Bauchi State. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦295,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
