Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Sully County, South Dakota. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Meals and transport allowance provided.
