Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Ika South, Delta State. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush We offer ₦85,000 per month plus benefits.
