Milling machine operator • Pacific County, Washington

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Pacific County, Washington. You will be based in a toolroom. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day-to-day duties: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
