Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in White County, Illinois. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites You will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
