Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Oshodi/Isolo, Lagos State. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling The role involves season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone.
