Articulated lorry driver — Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council

Great opportunity: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. You should have: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience The role involves: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
