Health and safety supervisor — Wyoming County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Wyoming County, New York. The job is on a high-rise building project. Day to day you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 2+ years on the tools preferred.
