Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Rolette County, North Dakota. You will be based on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On the job you will handle: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
