Aluminium TIG welder • Athens County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Athens County, Ohio. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
