Head baker — Huntington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Huntington County, Indiana. You will work at a cake shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen On the job you will handle: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
