Immediate opening: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is in lofts and crawl spaces. Your main tasks: • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings You should have: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Part-time with flexible hours.
