Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in San Juan County, New Mexico. You will be based at a cake shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Accurate at weighing and following recipes You will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; score the top of loaves before baking; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand.
