Elevator technician wanted in Cobb County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Cobb County, Georgia. The job is at a busy lift company. Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 1+ years on the tools preferred.
