Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Ohio County, Indiana. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. On the job you will handle: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Score the top of loaves before baking • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills 6+ years on the tools preferred.
